Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PayCheckr, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service description
PayCheckr provides restaurant payment acceptance information, search tools, community-submitted signals, and related map and discovery features for general informational purposes.
No guarantee of accuracy
Restaurant payment acceptance can change at any time. Data in PayCheckr may come from third-party providers, public information, or user submissions and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
You should confirm payment acceptance directly with a merchant before relying on it. PayCheckr does not guarantee that a restaurant will accept any particular payment method.
Permitted use
You may use the app for personal, non-abusive purposes. You agree not to:
- interfere with the app or try to gain unauthorized access;
- submit false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful content;
- scrape, copy, or reuse map or place data in ways not allowed by applicable provider terms; or
- use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden the service.
Your submissions
If you submit feedback or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights or applicable law.
You allow PayCheckr to use that submission to operate, improve, and protect the service.
Google Maps and third-party terms
Parts of the app use Google Maps Platform and Google Places. Your use of those features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.
The app may also rely on third-party services such as Supabase and Vercel. Those services may have their own terms and policies.
Intellectual property
The PayCheckr name, app design, original text, code, and other original content are owned by the project owner or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These terms do not give you any ownership rights in the app or its content, except for the limited right to use the service under these terms.
No reuse license
Unless a separate written license is provided, no right is granted to copy, redistribute, modify, publish, or create derivative works from PayCheckr’s original code or content.
Disclaimer of warranties
PayCheckris provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayCheckr and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, and we may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date.
